Welcome to the Italian American Lawyers Association

The Italian American Lawyers Association was founded in 1977 and became an official bar organization in 1978. We are known for our outstanding speakers, authentic Italian meals, fun and interactive events, and an energy that is uniquely our own.

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month for dinner, drinks and informative presentation on issues of importance to our community. We normally hold our meetings at Casa Italiana, a meeting hall in Little Italy, outside downtown LA, that is filled with good feelings, great food, and a meal reminiscent of a traditional Sunday afternoon dinner with pasta, wine, salad, an entree and dessert.

We are family and we invite you to join our family if you are Italian ... or know an Italian ... or enjoy Italian food, wine or culture! Feel free to look around our website, leaf through our photo album, and get to know prominent lawyers and judges in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

Summary of Mission Statement:

  • To foster a spirit of friendship through social and professional association among lawyers and judges;
  • To continue and improve the legal education of its members;
  • To render mutual aid and assistance to its members;
  • To promote Italian culture and the general welfare of its members and the improvement of the practice of the law;
  • And to participate in civic and community affairs so as to ensure the proper administration of justice.
